A. Account & Verification Data

Registration Details: Phone number and/or email address used to sign up and log in
Verification: OTP verification status for your phone number or email

B. Profile Data

To create your matrimony profile and show it to potential matches, we collect information you choose to provide, which may include:

Name, gender, date of birth, height, and marital status
Community, religion, and caste (where you choose to provide this, as is customary for matrimony matching)
Education, occupation, and income range (optional)
City, state, and country of residence
Family details you choose to add (e.g. father's/mother's occupation, siblings) and partner preferences
Profile photos you upload

C. Communication Data

Messages, interest/like requests, and match activity exchanged with other users through the App

D. Payment Data

If you purchase a premium subscription, payment is processed by Google Play Billing (or another payment processor shown at checkout). We do not receive or store your full card or payment credentials — we receive only confirmation of your purchase and subscription status.

E. Device & Usage Data

Device identifiers, app version, and crash/diagnostic logs, used to keep the App working reliably
Basic usage data such as app opens, profile views, and feature interactions

2. How We Use Your Information

Create and display your profile to other users so you can find and be found by potential matches
Power search, matching, and recommendation features based on your profile and preferences
Enable messaging and interest requests between users
Verify your identity and reduce fake or duplicate accounts
Process premium subscription purchases and manage your entitlements
Maintain security, prevent abuse/fraud, and enforce our terms
Provide customer support and respond to your requests

3. Sharing and Disclosure of Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only in these limited circumstances:

Other Users: Your profile information (as configured by your privacy settings) is visible to other users of the App so that matching can work
Service Providers: Hosting, database, notification, and payment providers who process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations
Legal Compliance: When required by law, regulation, or valid legal process
Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to the same privacy commitments

4. Data Retention

We retain your profile and account data for as long as your account remains active, so the App can provide matching and messaging features. If you delete your account (see our Delete Account & Data page), we delete your profile, photos, and messages from active systems, except where we are required to retain limited records (such as transaction records for tax/accounting purposes, or data needed to investigate fraud or abuse) for a period required by law.

5. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures, including encryption in transit and access controls, to protect your data against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

You can edit or update your profile information at any time from within the App
You can control visibility of certain profile fields via in-app privacy settings, where available
You can delete your account and data at any time — see our Delete Account & Data page for instructions
Depending on your location, you may have additional rights (such as access, correction, or portability) under applicable data protection law — contact us using the details in Section 8 to exercise these

7. Children's Privacy

Himachali Match is a matrimony service intended only for users who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
